Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment seeks a Data Engineer in Liverpool on a hybrid arrangement (1 day per week in the office). You will own data pipelines across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem, building scalable solutions and data assets for reporting and analytics.

The role emphasizes collaboration with analysts to deliver high-quality data, with a focus on cloud-based platforms and data warehousing concepts. Salary is up to £45,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a dedicated data engineering role.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills in cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
• Develop and support data warehousing solutions and dimensional models.
• Create and optimise datasets for reporting, analytics, and insights.
• Support migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver trusted data assets and documentation.
