Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment seeks a Data Engineer in Liverpool on a hybrid arrangement (1 day per week in the office). You will own data pipelines across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem, building scalable solutions and data assets for reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a dedicated data engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
• Develop and support data warehousing solutions and dimensional models.
• Create and optimise datasets for reporting, analytics, and insights.
• Support migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver trusted data assets and documentation.

THE ROLE:

You will take ownership of developing and maintaining scalable data solutions across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem.

• Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake.
• Developing and supporting data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
• Creating and optimising datasets to support reporting, analytics, and business insights.
• Supporting the ongoing migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted data assets and documentation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You will bring strong capability in:

• Data engineering experience, ideally 1-2 years in a dedicated engineering role.
• Building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working within cloud-based data environments.
