Job summary

Harnham in Liverpool is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem. You will own data ingestion and warehousing solutions to enable reporting, analytics and insights.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver trusted data assets and documentation, while supporting migration and development within Microsoft Fabric. Hybrid work, with one day in the office per week, is available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a data engineering role.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud-based data platforms.

You'll work within a growing Data Engineering team and play a key role in shaping the future of the company's data infrastructure.

THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:

You will take ownership of developing and maintaining scalable data solutions across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem.

• Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake.
• Developing and supporting data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
• Creating and optimising datasets to support reporting, analytics, and business insights.
• Supporting the ongoing migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted data assets and documentation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You will bring strong capability in:

• Data engineering experience, ideally 1-2 years in a dedicated engineering role.
• Building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working within cloud-based data environments.
