Job summary

Harnham in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Engineer to take ownership of building and maintaining scalable data pipelines on a modern Microsoft and cloud-based data platform. You will contribute to the Azure, Snowflake and Fabric ecosystem, delivering trusted data assets and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of data engineering experience in a dedicated role.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in cloud-based data environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
• Develop and support data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
• Create and optimise datasets to support reporting, analytics and business insights.
• Support migration and development within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted data assets and documentation.

Up to £45,000 + Benefits

Liverpool (Hybrid, 1 day per week in the office)

The Role

You will take ownership of developing and maintaining scalable data solutions across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem. Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake.
• Developing and supporting data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
• Creating and optimising datasets to support reporting, analytics, and business insights.
• Supporting the ongoing migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted data assets and documentation.

Your Skills and Experience

You will bring strong capability in:

• Data engineering experience, ideally 1-2 years in a dedicated engineering role.
• Building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working within cloud-based data environments.
