Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking a Data Engineer to own building and maintaining data pipelines on a modern Azure, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric stack. You will join a growing data engineering team and help shape the future of the company’s data platform.

You will work on building scalable data solutions, supporting reporting and analytics, and collaborating with analysts to deliver trusted data assets.

Qualifications

• Data engineering experience, ideally 1-2 years.
• Building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and cloud-based data environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
• Develop and support data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
• Create and optimise datasets to support reporting, analytics, and insights.
• Support migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver trusted data assets and documentation.

Liverpool (Hybrid, 1 day per week in the office)

You'll work within a growing Data Engineering team and play a key role in shaping the future of the company's data infrastructure.

THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:

You will take ownership of developing and maintaining scalable data solutions across a modern Azure, Snowflake, and Fabric ecosystem. Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake.
• Developing and supporting data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
• Creating and optimising datasets to support reporting, analytics, and business insights.
• Supporting the ongoing migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted data assets and documentation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You will bring strong capability in:

• Data engineering experience, ideally 1-2 years in a dedicated engineering role.
• Building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working within cloud-based data environments.
