Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading Legal 500 firm to recruit a Data Claims Caseworker / Paralegal in Manchester. You will manage new client onboarding, obtain evidence, and support the department with casework, documentation, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year of Caseworker Paralegal experience within a law firm/litigation environment.
• Experience with Data Claims work is preferable.
• Interest in UK GDPR 2018, Data Protection Act 2018, privacy rights and misuse of private information is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong administration and file management skills.
• Experience handling client enquiries, maintaining accurate records and preparing/managing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Departmental Director.
• Communicate with new and existing clients, taking initial instructions and obtaining evidence.
• Create files and prepare documentation for client onboarding.
• Assist with casework support from other lawyers in the department.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage time recording and file administration.
• Support departmental business development and marketing initiatives.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by Management.
