Job summary

Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading Legal500 law firm to recruit a Data Claims Paralegal on a permanent basis. The role focuses on new client diary management, case set-up/onboarding, and support to lawyers, including obtaining evidence from clients before case opening.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of paralegal/caseworker experience, an interest in data protection and privacy rights, and familiarity with UK GDPR.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of paralegal/caseworker experience in a law firm or litigation environment.
• Interest in data protection/privacy rights and UK GDPR is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Departmental Director.
• Liaising with new and existing clients and obtaining evidence for case opening.
• Creating files and preparing onboarding documentation.
• Providing casework support to lawyers in the department.
• Maintaining accurate case records and managing documentation.
• Managing time recording and file administration.
• Support for business development and marketing initiatives as required.
• Undertaking other duties as directed by management.
