Job summary

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is seeking a Data Claims Caseworker Paralegal to join its Data Claims Department. The role focuses on new client onboarding, onboarding evidence collection, and assisting with casework for other lawyers in the team.

Ideal candidates will have data claims experience or a strong interest in UK GDPR/privacy rights, with excellent organisation, drafting, and client-care skills. The role supports hybrid-working and ongoing professional development within a leading UK firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year of Caseworker Paralegal experience within a law firm/litigation environment.
• Experience with Data Claims work is preferable.
• Interest in UK GDPR 2018, Data Protection Act 2018, privacy rights and misuse of private information is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational, time-management and drafting skills.
• Strong communication and client-care abilities.
• Experience using case management systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Departmental Director.
• Communicating with new and existing clients; taking initial instructions and obtaining evidence.
• Creating files and preparing documents for client onboarding.
• Assisting with casework support from other lawyers in the department.
• Maintaining accurate case records and regulatory compliance.
• Managing time recording and file administration; supporting business development.
