Morgan Hunt is partnering with a leading Housing Association to recruit an experienced Cyber Security Engineer on a 6-month contract. The role will strengthen security capabilities across applications, infrastructure, networks, data and cloud platforms.

You will work with the Cyber Security Manager and Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain security capabilities, covering Microsoft security technologies, identity management, vulnerability management, incident response,

Qualifications

• Hands-on cyber security experience in medium to large organisations.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies and cloud security.
• Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and Cyber Essentials.
• Experience with security assessments, audits and penetration testing.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and maintain cyber security solutions and capabilities.
• Administer Microsoft 365 security technologies including Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Support identity and access management, vulnerability management and security monitoring.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents including SIEM/SOAR investigations and threat hunting.
• Support security reviews, audits and penetration testing.
• Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities to improve security posture.
• Provide security advice to IT projects and ensure security is embedded in design decisions.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to implement improvements.
