Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen security across a Microsoft-centric environment. You will implement security controls, manage Defender and Intune, and support vulnerability management, identity protection and incident response.

Hybrid role based in Manchester City Centre with 1–2 days in the office. You’ll work with IT teams to maintain security standards, drive improvements, and contribute to the Cyber Security Roadmap while ensuring ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience administering and improving Microsoft 365 security controls.
• Hands-on experience with Defender technologies and vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of security monitoring, incident response and investigations.
• Ability to work with technical teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Experience maintaining security standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Security engineering and project delivery from the Cyber Security Roadmap.
• Configure and maintain security tooling across the organisation.
• Support security improvement initiatives and risk reduction.
• Produce documentation, standards and support procedures.
• Support vulnerability management, incident response and security operations.
