Job summary

Alexander Steele Recruitment is seeking a Customer Supply Coordinator to join a Surrey-based supply chain team. The role focuses on coordinating orders, stock availability and service delivery, working with production, logistics and commercial teams to ensure smooth deliveries.

The position offers a supportive environment with a 2-day WFH/3-day in-office arrangement and opportunities to contribute to improvements in customer service and efficiency within the food manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Supply, Supply Chain Admin or Order Management.
• FMCG, food manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
• Experience processing orders and managing stock, deliveries and transport changes.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel; SAP knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from processing to delivery and invoicing.
• Be the main contact for customers, handling enquiries and changes professionally.
• Coordinate with production, distribution centres and logistics providers for deliveries.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues, stock shortages and delivery discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and inform teams of potential supply issues.
• Prepare reports on sales, stock, demand and delivery performance.
• Support continuous improvement to boost efficiency and service levels.
