Job summary

Mitchell Adam Ltd in Stafford is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team. You will manage the credit control process, chase outstanding payments, and support the sales ledger and billing functions in a fast-paced environment.

You'll build strong customer relationships, allocate cash, reconcile ledgers and resolve account queries while ensuring accuracy. The role offers hybrid working, ongoing training, and a collaborative team focused on development and growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
• Experience managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding debt, raising invoices and allocating cash.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage the credit control process and support the wider sales ledger and billing functions.
• Proactively chase outstanding payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Work with colleagues to ensure customer accounts remain accurate.
