Job summary

Rutherford Briant is seeking a Credit Controller in Essex for a reputable business. You will own a portfolio of accounts, proactively chase payments, and build strong relationships with customers.

This role demands 2+ years in credit control or finance, with strong Excel skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. You'll join a friendly team in a hybrid role with onsite parking and study support.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing debtor accounts to ensure timely payment.
• Monitor aged debt reports, identify risks, and elevate concerns in line with internal procedures.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of payment plans where necessary.
• Be a part of billing procedures, such as invoicing, monthly billing cycles, and reconciliations.
• Deal with queries in a professional manner.
