Job summary

Paula Rosa Manhattan is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team in the UK. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase payments, and keep ledgers accurate to maintain a strong cash position.

The role offers autonomy, collaboration across departments and the chance to influence credit control processes. Hybrid working, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pension options and wellbeing benefits are provided as part of our supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or similar finance role.
• Good understanding of finance processes.
• Proven ability to manage a ledger independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and keep debtor balances low.
• Build strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and secure payment on time.
• Reduce aged debt through proactive follow-up.
• Keep invoices, applications and accounts information accurate and up to date.
• Carry out reconciliations and cash allocation and support finalisation of accounts.
• Suggest improvements to credit control processes and systems.
