Job summary

DWF is seeking a Credit Controller to join our Financial Operations team in Manchester on a permanent basis. The role involves managing accounts receivable, engaging with customers about balances, and guiding them toward resolution.

The position offers hybrid working with three days in the Manchester office and two days remote. Candidates should have experience in credit control or debt recovery within a fast-paced finance environment, with excellent communication and time-management skills.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic setting with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve aged receivables and support healthy cash flow.
• Oversee assigned receivables, address disputes, maintain records, and ensure timely follow-up on balances.
• Foster strong client relationships and support account reconciliation.
• Work with fee earners to proactively manage account balances and improve processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with relevant rules and transfers.
• Contribute to credit control team meetings and drive continuous improvement.
