Job summary

Confidential in Castleford is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team. You will own your customer ledger, chase outstanding payments by phone and email, and help maintain healthy cash flow.

You will build relationships with customers and collaborate with Sales, Commercial and Finance teams to resolve queries, identify risks, and support process improvements. Hybrid working pattern: 3 days on site and 2 from home.

Qualifications

• Proven credit control experience.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate and resolve account queries.
• Comfortable supporting broader finance duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated customer ledger and chase outstanding debt by phone and email.
• Build relationships with customers while securing payment.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and account queries.
• Work closely with Sales, Commercial and Finance teams.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, purchase ledger and petty cash.
