Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a CPO Lead to provide specialist leadership for the Brent Cross Cricklewood Regeneration Programme. The role coordinates land acquisition, compensation, and related property workstreams, while ensuring compliance with governance, statutory, and commercial requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading CPO projects in regeneration, infrastructure or local government.
• Deep knowledge of CPO legislation, compensation principles, land acquisition and property law.
• Experience managing compensation claims and Lands Chamber matters.
• Strong track record in complex land assembly and regeneration programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate CPO workstreams across the regeneration programme.
• Oversee resolution of compensation claims arising from CPO activity.
• Manage potential referrals and proceedings at the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).
• Provide specialist advice on land acquisition, property interests and regeneration-related matters.
• Support disposals, acquisitions, leases, licences, and easements within projects.
• Act as client representative for external advisers and manage budgets and governance.
• Monitor adviser performance and programme delivery, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks in land assembly, compensation, and property transactions.
• Prepare reports and governance documentation for senior officers and committees.
