Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking a Corporate Apprentice (Level 3) to join the Digital and Project Delivery Team at County Hall. You will learn to collate and analyse business information while supporting digital and non-digital projects in a hybrid working environment.

This 21-month, full-time apprenticeship includes on‑the‑job training and a Welsh Government qualification focused on Digital Skills for Business, with mentoring to deliver high-quality public services for Cardiff residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collating, maintaining and analysing business information and safe handling of confidential information.
• Support business change work to improve environments and increase diversity and inclusion.
• Undertake administration projects and business support tasks including meeting organisation and records maintenance.
• Assist in formatting and production of data charts.
• Use Microsoft Office, Power BI and Cardiff Council systems.
• Act as a point of contact for and monitor service support requests.
