Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Contracts Co-Ordinator for an initial 12-month contract in Seaham. The role offers hybrid working: three days on-site and two days from home, supporting project delivery teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.

The role reports to the Contract Manager and collaborates with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, SHEQ and client representatives to ensure contractual compliance, cost control and robust document management throughout

Qualifications

• Experience in a contract administration, contract coordination or commercial support role within construction, infrastructure or engineering projects.
• Understanding of purchase-to-pay processes, invoice management and cost control.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Desirable: Experience with FIDIC and/or NEC forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Review installation design Bills of Quantities and prepare sourcing trackers for all items to be procured.
• Maintain and update change management registers and related commercial records.
• Manage the purchase to pay process for the HV projects business including requisitions and call off orders.
• Authorize invoices through the goods receipting process and manage invoice queries with stakeholders.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients and internal teams to discuss progress and contractual matters.
• Assist with compilation of monthly dashboards and management reporting.
• Provide document control support and ensure compliance with project documentation standards.
• Support QA/QC and SHEQ by ensuring proper records and process adherence.
