Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Contract Manager Pre / Post Contract (NEC) within Energy & Natural Resources. The role leads on complex contractual arrangements, with on-site/client office presence three days per week to support project teams and stakeholder engagement.

You will negotiate T&Cs, manage commercial staff, and drive governance across the contract lifecycle while ensuring value for money and adherence to the Commercial Manual.

Qualifications

• Significant, demonstrable experience in contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong experience in contract change management and claims management.
• Ability to draft and interpret commercial contracts.
• Experience with NEC and FIDIC contracts.
• Understanding of budgets and financial reporting for projects.
• Knowledge of governance processes for large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract terms for high-value projects and manage delivery phase.
• Negotiate prices and ensure substantiated value for money.
• Engage and manage stakeholders; influence and resolve disputes.
• Cost and forecast management with regular reporting.
• Oversee post-contract commercial management and compensation events.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and promote safe practices.
