Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a proactive Business Support Officer to join the Older Adults Strategic Commissioning Team. The role focuses on providing analytical and business support to oversee diverse community care contracts, including domiciliary care and care homes.

You will work with commissioners, contract managers and providers to monitor performance, improve data quality, and develop dashboards using SharePoint, Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Strong data interpretation and reporting skills.
• Experience with Power BI/SharePoint for dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide business support to the Commissioning and Contract Management Team, triaging inquiries and handling correspondence.
• Maintain accurate contract, provider and performance records.
• Coordinate meetings and provider forums, recording actions and progress.
• Act as a key point of contact for providers and stakeholders to promote collaboration.
• Support contract management activities, monitoring compliance and actions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems using SharePoint, Excel and Power BI.
• Produce and present performance, compliance and market information.
