Job summary

Howden in Warrington is seeking an Account Handler to support Account Executives, delivering accurate insurance advice and first-rate service to clients. This full-time role is based in our Warrington office, with a preference for onsite presence three days per week; training requires full-time in-office attendance.

Key duties include processing renewals, documentation, payments, and data input, while maintaining regulatory standards and customer fairness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months customer service experience.
• Minimum 12 months administration experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• A good level of insurance skills to be tested.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately.
• Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
• Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times.
• Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
• Refer all queries that fall outside your own experience, knowledge and authority to senior staff.
