Job summary

Howden UK Brokers Limited in Warrington is seeking an Account Handler to support Account Executives by delivering sound insurance advice and quality service to clients with commercial risks.

The role requires a minimum of 12 months' customer service and administration experience, GCSEs including Maths and English, and strong attention to detail. You will handle queries, renewals, documentation, and premium adjustments while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' customer service experience.
• Minimum 12 months' administration experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately.
• Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
• Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times.
• Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
• Refer all queries that fall outside your own experience, knowledge and authority to senior staff.
• Re-marketing exercises.
• Issuing renewal documentation.
• Dealing with client payments in line with Howden procedures.
• Data input.
• Participating in meetings as and when required.
