Job summary

Lawes Consulting Group is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to own a book of mid-market commercial clients and drive new business growth in West Yorkshire. You will be the face of the business for clients, delivering tailored insurance and risk management solutions with support from our Account Handling team.

We value relationship-building, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Account Executive within commercial insurance broking.
Strong background across property, casualty, motor fleet and liability.
Track record of retaining clients and winning new business.
Cert CII desirable, with study support.

Responsibilities

Retain and grow an existing book of commercial clients with a focus on growth.
Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, leads and self-generated prospecting.
Understand each client’s operations, opportunities and risks, and their risk management approach.
Offer and present insurance solutions to secure renewals and new business.
Negotiate with insurers to achieve best cover, service and premium outcomes.
Work closely with Account Handlers to deliver excellent client service.
Ensure all activity complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
