Job summary

Lawes Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler in the Motherwell area. You will support a portfolio of commercial clients, working with Account Executives and insurers to manage from quotation through to renewal.

The role requires knowledge of commercial insurance broking, strong client relationships and proactive workload management. Hybrid working is available with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial insurance broking or account handling environment.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration for a portfolio of commercial clients.
• Handle new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy documentation.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate terms with insurers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
