Job summary

Lawes Consulting Group in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. You will build long-term relationships, win new business, and renew placements with insurers to deliver tailored solutions.

Collaborating with account handlers and broking teams, you will work to identify opportunities for growth while maintaining high service standards and FCA compliance. Hybrid role with client meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and managing commercial insurance client relationships.
• Demonstrable experience winning new business and/or developing existing commercial accounts.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the insurer market.
• Experience managing a portfolio of commercial clients.
• Strong understanding of the commercial broking process.
• Experience working towards income, growth, retention or new business targets.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliant ways of working.
• Experience using insurance broking and CRM systems.
• Cert CII qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial insurance opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting and existing relationships.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients across sectors.
• Manage and develop an existing portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth and additional income.
• Lead renewal and placement discussions to achieve appropriate and competitive outcomes.
