Job summary

Aon is seeking a Claims Management Executive to oversee commercial claims across the South UK region. The role is hybrid with potential to work across multiple offices in the Central and South Region, ideally based in Chelmsford, Redhill or Reading.

The successful candidate will establish and maintain effective claims handling procedures, manage client relationships, and act as the main contact for clients on claims inquiries while collaborating with adjusters to ensure efficient processing.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of commercial/corporate claims, particularly in Liability, Property, and Motor.
• Experience in client-facing roles, including leading meetings with clients.
• Exceptional customer service and ability to communicate with all client levels.
• Comprehensive understanding of the UK commercial insurance market and its processes.
• Strong organisational skills for diary management.
• Self-motivated with accountability and pride in your work.
• Proven ability to build robust internal and external relationships.
• Confidence in delivering presentations; excellent written communication.
• Experience helping clients improve risk and claims costs; enhance processes.
• CII certification or other relevant professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective claims handling procedures to deliver a high quality, innovative service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on claims inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with claims adjusters and other professionals to facilitate processing.
• Deliver insightful claims data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Organise and chair claims review meetings with clients, carriers, and suppliers.
• Identify areas for process enhancement and implement changes to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
• Serve as client contact for negotiations with insurers and loss adjusters on disputed claims.
• Support clients through large loss processes using Aon’s wider capabilities.
