Job summary

Aon is seeking a dynamic Claims Management Executive to guide clients through complex commercial claims with confidence. Hybrid role across Central and South Regions, ideally based in Chelmsford, Redhill or Reading.

You will establish claims handling procedures, build strong client relationships, and lead review meetings with carriers and loss adjusters, delivering high-quality, data-driven insight.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial liability, property, and motor claims.
• Experience in client-facing roles and leading meetings.
• Strong customer service and communication across client levels.
• Knowledge of UK commercial insurance processes.
• Excellent diary management and organisational skills.
• CII certification or professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Agree and set up claims handling procedures to deliver high quality service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries about claims.
• Collaborate with adjusters to facilitate efficient processing.
• Deliver insightful claims data to identify trends and improvements.
• Chair claims review meetings with clients, carriers, suppliers.
• Identify areas for process enhancement to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
• Serve as clients' point of contact for negotiation with insurers and loss adjusters on disputes.
• Support clients through large loss process using Aon's capabilities.

Aon Commercial is looking for a dynamic claims professional to join our Claims Management Executive Team, this is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work across multiple offices in the Central and South Region of the UK (ideally based in Chelmsford, Redhill or Reading)

What the day will look like

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective claims handling procedures, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, innovative claims service. The role involves acting as the primary contact for clients, facilitating efficient claims processing, and supporting clients through complex claims situations.

• Agree and set up claims handling procedures to ensure delivery of a high quality, innovative claims service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding claims-related inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with claims adjusters and other professionals to facilitate efficient claims processing.
• Delivering insightful claims data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Organising and chairing claims review meetings with clients, carriers, and other suppliers
• Identify areas for process enhancement and implement changes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Clients point of contact for negotiation with insurers and loss adjusters on any disputed or contentious claims, including declinatures, reservation of rights etc
• Supporting clients through the large loss process by utilising Aon's wider capabilities

• In-depth knowledge of commercial/corporate claims, particularly in Liability, Property, and Motor sectors.
• Experience in client-facing roles, including leading meetings with clients.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all client levels.
• Comprehensive understanding of the UK commercial insurance market and its processes.
• Strong organisational skills for efficient diary management.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and pride in your work.
• Proven track record of building robust internal and external relationships.
• Confidence in delivering presentations and excellent written communication skills.
• Experience in helping clients improve risk, identifying areas to improve claims costs and enhance processes.
