Job summary

Aon seeks an experienced North American Claims Advocate (London Market focused) to manage liability claims from inception to resolution, based in London or Chelmsford. This hybrid role requires delivering top-tier client advocacy and overseeing complex claims.

You will provide proactive coverage guidance to clients and network offices, coordinate with carriers and brokers, and mentor colleagues while staying current with industry trends and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years liability claims handling experience in London market.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a client-facing environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of liability insurance principles, policies and procedures.
• ACII or ACILA qualification preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Provide proactive advice on coverage issues to clients and network offices to present and advocate the best strategy for settlements.
• Ensure outstanding levels of communication with clients, carriers, brokers and stakeholders to facilitate efficient claims handling.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced colleagues to foster learning and development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulation and best practice to enhance claims handling capabilities.
