Anglian Water is recruiting a Commercial Analyst to support the Commercial Manager and strengthen governance across the Centralised Commercial function. Based in Peterborough with hybrid working (3 days in the office), you’ll deliver accurate reporting and insightful analysis to support capital programmes and alliances.

• Proven experience in an analytical role with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Knowledge and experience of assurance / audit functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with focus and attention to detail.
• A forward-looking, solutions-oriented mindset that drives efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Manager and the wider Commercial function to ensure consistency and governance across capital programmes and alliances.
• Touch multiple areas including commercial standards, financial modelling, capital delivery, performance reporting, and payment validation.
• Maintain and improve commercial policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to stay auditable and aligned with business standards.
• Manage alliance and programme data, contribute to forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Assist with weekly ERS payment processes and provide timely audit trails.
