Job summary

Fletchers Group in Northampton seeks a Solicitor Grade B/C (or equivalent) to manage a clinical negligence caseload. The role offers hybrid working, a collaborative culture, and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 5 years+ PQE or equivalent experience in clinical negligence
• Recent experience handling a caseload in a clinical negligence team
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong drafting and communication abilities
• Willingness to coach and mentor junior team members
• Flexibility to work in hybrid, collaborative environments

Responsibilities

• Run an individual caseload of clinical negligence matters
• Provide support and guidance to the team to deliver excellent client service
• Contribute to proactive case management and progression
• Support Team Leader to meet KPIs and performance targets
• Maintain thorough time recording and documentation
• Draft legal documents including LOCs and letters of instruction
• Negotiate settlements and, if required, issue proceedings
