Job summary

Acorn Insurance, with Liverpool roots, is hiring a Claims Intelligence Analyst to support the Counter Fraud team and other areas of the business. You will use a wide range of fraud-detection tools to conduct advanced intelligence investigations into suspect claims and produce findings in reports.

You will build relationships with intelligence suppliers, professional bodies and law enforcement while collaborating with Investigators, Underwriters and the Intelligence team to improve fraud savings

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in Intelligence or Counter Fraud Investigations.
• Experience in using fraud detection tools and intelligence analysis software.
• Knowledge of claims and underwriting best practice.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• To investigate suspected fraudulent claims/policies using various intelligence tools.
• To deliver a usable intelligence-based product to reduce claim losses.
• To provide intelligence-led support to general claims/policy teams.
• Confident in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Contribute to the continued improvements of the intelligence products & output.
• Handling, analysing and evaluating highly confidential datasets and documents.
