Job summary

Acorn Insurance, part of the Acorn Group, is recruiting a Counter Fraud Claims Handler in Liverpool. The role involves managing investigations from cradle to grave, with a proactive approach to developing the team.

Hybrid working is available and salary ranges from £26,350 to £34,800 plus potential £2,000 bonus per annum once established. You will investigate a portfolio of suspect claims, assess intelligence, and interact with investigative service providers to achieve correct outcomes, while

Qualifications

• Good understanding of all aspects of claims handling including indemnity, liability, first party and bodily injury claims.
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently with minimum support.

Responsibilities

• Manage investigations and assess intelligence to guide case outcomes.
• Assess a wide variety of claims/referrals and decide on the appropriate action.
