Job summary

Historic England is offering a full-time, fixed-term Change Manager role, until 30 September 2027. Based in the United Kingdom with hybrid working between office and home, you can be located in York, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cambridge, Swindon, Bristol, or Portsmouth.

You will lead change management for major programmes, coach leaders, and ensure a consistent approach across projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver the Strategic Plan and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience of driving change initiatives using a structured change management approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to facilitate sessions in person and online.
• Ability to work in complex environments and deliver to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the change management for major programmes and coach leaders on initiatives.
• Identify scale and impact of planned changes and align roll-out and training.
• Design interventions to shift mind set, skills and practices to deliver the Strategic Plan.
• Collaborate with other change managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
