Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Change Officer to work within the Change Delivery Group across Prison and Probation services. You will lead change initiatives at local establishments and in national programs, coordinating with Area Change Managers and national heads of change delivery.

You will use digital systems to record progress, produce regular reports, and drive timely delivery while upholding civil service standards and inclusion principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of local and national change initiatives across prisons and probation
• Engage with change stakeholders at regional and national levels
• Utilise Gateway Management System (GMS) and Project for the Web (PftW) to track progress
• Deliver regular project updates to line managers and governance boards
• Identify risks, track milestones and escalate issues as needed
• Support continuous improvement through Lean methodologies and knowledge sharing
• Participate in governance boards and regional/national meetings as required
• Adhere to civil service values and equality, diversity and inclusion principles
