Job summary

MBDA is seeking a CAMM Family Systems Design Engineer in Stevenage to join the Design and Certification team. The role covers system design across the CAMM family, engaging with multiple internal functions to drive architecture, verification and certification activities.

The position includes hybrid working with on-site days 2–3 per week depending on workload. You will contribute to bid strategies, stakeholder coordination and technical trade studies, growing expertise within a collaborative

Qualifications

• An appreciation of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, with proven experience in formal verification and certification processes.
• Experience in system engineering, including requirements management, use case analysis and system architecture design.
• Ability to write clear engineering documentation and perform design verification planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Systems Design activities at Missile level for the CAMM Family.
• Responsible for the bid strategy for Systems dependent on experience.
• Coordination of multiple sub-system stakeholders to deliver the Design Assurance and Certification plan.
• Technical management: leading the systems design and trade studies.
