Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive in Beverley, East Yorkshire. This hybrid role offers flexibility for home-working and a target-driven environment to grow the customer base.

You will identify prospects, qualify opportunities and coordinate meetings for colleagues while managing a healthy CRM-driven pipeline and supporting orders and samples to drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Confident in communicating with new and existing customers.
• Proactive prospecting with clear sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple conversations.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative and customer‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers through calls, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Qualify opportunities, understanding customer requirements and arranging high-quality meetings for commercial colleagues.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, keeping CRM information accurate and following up with prospects.
• Support the customer journey through quotations, proposals, orders and samples, coordinating with internal teams.
• Monitor customer feedback, market developments and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
