Job summary

Minster Law Ltd in Wakefield is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join our Product, Change & Innovation Team. The role sits in a hybrid working model with 2-3 days in the office, focusing on turning business needs into clear requirements and delivering practical change across systems and processes.

You'll bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams, creating user stories, acceptance criteria and continuous improvements across the claims lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong requirements gathering and user story writing skills.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and documenting business, user and non-functional requirements.
• Writing clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
• Supporting discovery activities to understand business challenges and identify solutions.
• Mapping current and future state processes and user journeys.
• Using data and management information to support decision-making and prioritisation.
• Working closely with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are understood.
• Supporting user acceptance testing and release readiness activities.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive decisions and outcomes.
• Identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.
