Warwick District Council is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (Career Grade) to join the Housing Assets team. The role covers planning and delivering maintenance, surveys, specifications, and contract management across council housing stock.

Grade F–D £32,046 to £47,665 per annum, 37 hours, permanent. Hybrid working with occasional travel to offices/sites within Warwick District; closing date 1 November 2026. Informal discussion with Paddy Rudd.

Formación

• Relevant built environment qualification, or appropriate experience.
• Experience of undertaking building surveys, managing resulting works and delivering major projects in occupied homes or business premises.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Join Housing Assets team and help maintain and improve the Council’s housing stock and wider property portfolio.
• Manage planned maintenance and improvement projects.
• Undertake building and stock condition surveys, prepare specifications and manage contractors, projects and budgets from inception through to completion.
