Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a BI Analyst to develop and maintain information systems that support key performance indicators and data reporting across the trust. You will work with clinical and managerial teams to provide timely analytics and ensure data quality in accordance with NHS standards.

The role requires strong SQL, Excel and BI tool experience, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with informatics in large/complex organisations.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SQL scripting.
• Experience with business intelligence software and reporting.
• Excellent numeracy and statistical methods skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain BI solutions to support the information agenda and data metrics.
• Interrogate information systems to produce routine and ad hoc reports for stakeholders.
• Submit datasets to national collections as required.
• Analyse data, interpret results and report findings.
• Ensure timely, accurate production of KPIs and contractual data.
