Job summary

Bestway Healthcare is expanding its Audit, Risk & Compliance team and seeks an experienced Audit & Risk professional to strengthen governance, financial controls and operational resilience. You will work with senior stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate controls and deliver insightful audits across a fast-paced organisation.

Hybrid role: 3 days on site per week (2 from home) with flexibility for Manchester or Stoke locations.

Qualifications

• Professional audit or accountancy qualification (or working towards one).
• Experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Assurance, Revenue Assurance or Financial Controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk-based financial and operational audits across the business.
• Evaluate controls, identify areas of risk and recommend improvements.
• Conduct revenue assurance reviews to protect income and reduce leakage.
• Produce audit reports for senior leadership audiences.
• Support development and management of the enterprise risk framework.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve risk awareness and control effectiveness.
• Support business continuity and operational resilience activities.
• Monitor and follow up on audit actions and escalations.
