Job summary

Ideal candidates bring CA(SA) or equivalent, 7+ years in public accounting with audit leadership, and deep ISA/IFRS knowledge to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent requirement.
• Minimum seven years in public accounting with audit management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ISAs and IFRS.
• Proven track record in managing audit engagements and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise financial statement audits for a variety of clients.
• Assess client internal control systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with ISAs and IFRS.
• Manage audit engagement teams, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a key contact.
• Identify and address audit risks and challenges effectively.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports and management letters.
• Assist with business development and client proposals.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.
• Contribute to development and implementation of firm-wide audit methodologies.
