Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established business in Sheffield who are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is looking to develop their technical accounting skills and progress their career within a supportive finance function.

The successful candidate will receive full study support and will have the opportunity to take on increasing

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounting role.
• AAT, or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or studying toward a professional qualification.
• Strong progress-driven attitude and desire to develop technically.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly management accounts preparation.
• Assist with month-end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the finance team.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
