Job summary

BTG Recruitment is assisting a growing international IT services business in Leicester to recruit an Assistant Group Accountant. The role focuses on detailed accounting and financial reporting with opportunities to learn from an experienced Reporting Manager.

You’ll gain exposure to group reporting, support overseas entities as knowledge grows, and benefit from study support and hybrid working with initial three days a week in the city centre office.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts preparation or financial reporting.
• AAT qualifications, progress towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
• Willingness to learn and supportive approach to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and help establish processes as responsibilities transfer from an overseas team.
• Focus on detailed accounting and reporting work to build expertise beyond monthly management accounts.
• Gain exposure to an international finance function with scope to support an overseas entity.
