Job summary

Pratap Partnership in Lincolnshire is seeking a Group Assistant Accountant in a hybrid role, offering study support and progression within a large finance environment. The role focuses on group reporting, intercompany transactions and audits, with two days in the office and a competitive salary plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant pursuing CIMA or ACCA.
• Excellent attention to detail and high presentation standards.
• Ability to clearly communicate financial information to finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Proactive and collaborative approach across functions.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting.
• Preparing statutory accounts and supporting disclosure notes.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting for subsidiary and joint venture entities.
• Maintaining balance sheet control accounts and reconciliations.
• Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions across the group.
• Supporting the external audit process and preparation of audit schedules.
• Providing information for the Group annual report.
• Assisting with year-end accounting estimates, including provisions and going concern reviews.
• Producing high-quality management accounts packs and reporting financial results to stakeholders.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and improvements within the management reporting process.
• Supporting the Group Financial Accountant with ad hoc projects.
