RECfinancial has partnered with a leading national organisation in Leicester to appoint an Assistant Accountant on a 15-month contract. The role supports month-end processing and key financial deliverables from our Leicester office with hybrid working for finance professionals.

The successful candidate will prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile the balance sheet, process intercompany transactions, and calculate accruals and prepayments, delivering insights for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in month-end processing and management reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis aptitude.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• Calculate accruals and prepayments; deliver financial insights for decision-making.
