Job summary

The University of Law is seeking an Assessment Officer to guide students through the assessment journey. The role involves direct student interaction, resolving queries, and coordinating with staff and partners to ensure smooth assessments from start to finish.

This permanent, full-time position (35 hours) offers hybrid working across UK ULaw Campuses, starting salary £28,700 with benefits and opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and implementing complex administrative processes in a busy organisation.
• Confidence in providing clear one-on-one guidance to students and staff.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students daily, addressing queries in person, by phone and email.
• Collaborate with staff, faculty and LCCA to ensure assessments run smoothly.
• Plan, organise and prioritise workload across the academic year to meet deadlines.
• Maintain the student records system with accurate assessment information across processes.
