Job summary

The University of Law is seeking an Assessment Officer to join on a permanent full-time basis (35 hours per week) with a hybrid working model across UK ULaw Campuses.

You will engage with students daily, addressing queries in person, by phone and email, and collaborate with staff and partners to ensure assessments run smoothly from start to finish.

The role offers a starting salary of £28,700 plus benefits, with opportunities for professional development and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex administrative processes in a busy organisation.
• Confidence in providing clear one-on-one guidance to students and staff.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students daily and drive continuous improvement of Assessments Office processes.
• Plan and prioritise workload across the academic year, meeting deadlines.
• Project manage enrolment on assessments, mitigations, marking, moderation, external examiners, exam boards, progression and award processes.
• Maintain the student records system with accurate assessment information.
