Job summary

Skills for Security is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Executive to guide apprentices from application through programme start. The hybrid role requires coordinating recruitment, candidate support and onboarding across multiple local centres.

You will manage a busy caseload, build relationships with schools, employers and partners, and ensure a safe, compliant onboarding experience for every learner.

Qualifications

• Experience in apprenticeship recruitment and/or onboarding, managing a busy caseload.
• Confident communication with a wide range of people, highly organised and able to manage deadlines with attention to detail.
• Experience with apprenticeship funding, eligibility or compliance requirements would be an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to local centres or events.

Responsibilities

• Review applications, speak with prospective apprentices, support CVs and interview preparation, and match right people to employer vacancies.
• Build strong relationships with applicants, employers, schools, colleges and referral partners to promote apprenticeship opportunities.
• Lead onboarding journey: sign-up calls, documentation checks, contracts, and working with Apprenticeship Service processes.
• Keep HubSpot and systems up to date, provide progress updates, and support events and improvements to recruitment and onboarding.
