Job summary

Hyde Housing Association is seeking an Applications Support Analyst (NEC Housing) to ensure its business‑critical applications run stably and are fully supported. The role centers on NEC Housing and requires clear communication and hands-on incident management.

The successful candidate will handle escalations, support lifecycle activities, and contribute to disaster recovery exercises as part of Hyde’s governance framework.

Qualifications

• Experience providing applications support for enterprise systems.
• Ability to resolve incidents within targets and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support across Hyde’s application portfolio, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of high-priority incidents, restoring service quickly and reducing business disruption.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and data issues using a structured, methodical approach.
• Carry out root cause analysis on recurring or complex issues, documenting findings and recommending long-term fixes.
• Perform approved configuration and setup activities in line with Hyde’s standards, controls and governance requirements.
• Support lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, releases, regression testing and post-implementation validation.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, including readiness checks and follow-up assurance actions.
